SHIPPING SERVICE POLICIES

The Import and Export Services of Sercargo Express Corp. can be used by any person of legal age, companies, foundations and/or institutions in general.

To choose to use the logistics and transport services provide by Sercargo Express Corp, the customer must previously obtain an International account and provide the requested personal data, which is completely free.

Sercargo Express Corp. reserves the right to provide the shipping service to any of our customers.

The customer will receive the written information of the conditions of service, specifications of minimum required weights, the correct way to use the address and their account code according to service to make their purchases.

Sercargo Express Corp. reserves the right, at any time, to change any description of products or services include in the site, including any price of said products or services if necessary, prior to notification to the customer.

The customer will receive instructions to download the load monitoring application from their cell phone, the us of it is mandatory.

Sercargo Express Corp will charge the shipping service to its customers every time they transport packages through their account. These costs will be specified to the customer for each package taking into account the greater weight, either real or volume.

Sercargo Express Corp weighs and measures all the cargo receive at the Los Angeles warehouse to enter into the system.

Additional costs to the service will be include in the invoice, as considerate, such as International Freight, Insurance, Taxes in the country of arrival, Surcharge for transportation, pick up, Ground transfer, Hazmat, Inbond Management and other surcharges.

Sercargo Express Corp charges its international freight for greater weight in pounds and in American Dollars. The authorize payment method can be cash, transfer or by credit card.

Additional costs for handling in minimum and maximum weights.

Sercargo Express Corp. can transport any weight you need by air and sea. However, there are minimum and maximum surcharges for the use of the shipping service.

COMPENSATION

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Sercargo Express Corp. other affiliated companies, their respective officers, directors, employees, agents and suppliers from and against all losses, expenses, damages and costs, including reasonable attorneys. Rates, as a result of any violation of these terms of use by you.

RESPONSABILITIES OF SERCARGO EXPRESS CORP

Sercargo Express Corp. is responsible for providing a first quality service to all our customers. This includes proper care for all packages and merchandise, as well as timely reporting of the status of all shipments in real time through our platform or any of the communication channels it has set up for this purpose.

However, Sercargo Express Corp. is not responsible for customer merchandise or packages when:

  • The customer has not insured the content of his/her cargo greater than US$100.00 and the package suffers total or partial damage or loss at the time of receipt or delivery.
  • The package appears on the courier page as delivered in the zip code but has not been delivered to the Sercargo Express Corp. Los Angeles facilities.
  • The package has been received in poor condition.
  • The content of the merchandise has been prohibited by the United States government.
  • The content of the merchandise is perishable.
  • The received product is damaged, in poor condition.
  • The product received was not what the customer expected.
  • The customer does not use the signature service to ship to our facilities in the United States.
  • The customer uses USPS (U.S Postal Service) for shipping to our facilities in the US.
  • The customer does not request Insurance Service, to protect the transit of his/her package from any situation.

Sercargo Express Corp is not responsible for delays, losses, damages or losses incurred in the customer’s merchandise, when these are caused by entities external to it, due to force majeure or negligence of the customer.

DAYS FOR PACKAGE RECEPTION IN LOS ANGELES

Sercargo Express Corp. Los Angeles will receive packages Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. If you have the need to receive merchandise on a Saturday, let us know with 48 hours to schedule your reception at our facilities.

PACKAGE COLLECTION IN USA

Sercargo Express Corp offers the Pick Up service in the USA to all our customers with an additional charge according to distance, quantity and weight of the cargo. To request this service, you must request it 24 hours in advance, indicating name, exact address, contact telephone number. For prices please contact a Service Agent.

DISPATCH ITINERARIES

Sercargo Express Corp offers weekly departures on Fridays, with the Cut-Off being 2:00 pm, except for National Holidays in the USA and the New Year’s Eve Parties.

DELIVERY TIMES

Sercargo Express Corp. has an estimated ground service delivery time of 2 business days at MIA. It is important to clarify that the count starts from the dispatch that takes place on Friday of each week. These delivery times are estimated and can vary at any tine depending on weather, customs, and high merchandise traffic conditions such as special seasons.

SHIPPING INSURANCE

The company will not be responsible for delays, losses, damages or losses incurred in the customer’s merchandise when these are caused by entities outside the company, due to force majeure or negligence of the customer. In all other cases, the company will reimburse up to maximum value of ONE HUNDRED AMERICAN DOLLARS ($100.00). By making the payment in a credit note to use it in your next freight, it will be paid in the event that inconveniences occur that prevent your packages from being deliver or arrive in poor condition due to mismanagement of Sercargo Express Corp, being carried out after investigation in a 10 business days. It will be the customer’s obligation to take out Insurance to protect their merchandise.

Claims will be accepted only with a maximum of 2 business days after receiving the cargo at its facilities.

It will be the customer’s obligation to take out insurance to protect their merchandise when the value is above, ONE HUNDRED AMERICAN DOLLARS ($100.00). The customer can buy his/her insurance certificate with the insurer of his/her preference or can quote the insurance management directly with Sercargo Express Corp. prior to the cargo entering the warehouse in Los Angeles, sending the tracking and invoice requesting it.

Sercargo Express Corp. is not responsible for uninsured cargo.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that their suppliers include in their shipments the full name, mailbox number and type of shipping service requested. The customer code will be assigned when accepting your affiliation and opening your account. Otherwise, in each cargo without identification we are not responsible for the delay in delivering it. The unidentified cargo within a maximum period of 6 months, will be considered abandoned, so it will be subject to auction to cover store costs.

RESTRICTED PRODUCTS

Sercargo Express Corp. does not accept shipments whose contents are:

  • Hazardous, fuels or explosive materials.
  • Metal, precious stones, negotiable titles, negotiable instruments, currency, unpaid postal or fiscal stamps, cashier or cashier checks, antiques.
  • Animals, plants or perishable products.
  • Product or articles prohibited by law.

Despite the above, Sercargo Express Corp. may receive with or without prior knowledge any of the items described above, without assuming any responsibility, for loss, deterioration or other defect that may result as a consequence of its transportation or handling.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

Narcotics, weapons and ammunition, war toys according to their category, jewels and precious stones, securities or bearer titles, cash in any denomination, animals or plants (live or dead), precious metals, gold, silver, platinum, blood, hallucinogenic products.

Fragile cargo, it is the customer’s obligation to request adequate packaging for transportation from the company where the good was purchase. Otherwise Sercargo Express Corp will NOT be responsible for damaged product that is caused by poor packaging or inadequate packaging.
